🎄❆ Blogmas!! Post Six | A random Biology poem! ❆🎄

Heyheyhey!! I’m totally enjoying Blogmas so muchh. The whole blogosphere is radiating this comfy-warm vibe! I hope the readers love it here 💕 Blogmas isn’t separating me from poetry! That’s why I’m going to posting a totally random (but informative 😂) poem on the flower “Water Lily”

Guess whyy, because my pen-name is Lili 😏

Without further randomness, scroll and read my poem!

Water Lilies are jewels of the pool,
They’re also known as Nymphaea which sounds so cool!
Lilies spread across the water‘s surface,
Keeping the pond and the creatures in it safe.

They provide shade,
Which keeps the temperature down,
It prevents the growth of algae,
Which keeps the pond clean, and you won’t frown!

Water lilies absorb nutrients in the water,
Which would feed green plants,
Keeping the water clean,
They also have a good fragrance!

Rounded and wax coated leaves,
A tall, thick stalk,
Are their characteristics,
We have much more to talk!

Water Lilies are found all over the world
In all colors, and their leaves are curled
They survive in freshwater ponds, lakes and swamps
Tropical and temperate climates with places that are damp.

They are used to make medicines.
Lilies cure diarrhea too,
A paste is applied directly
To cure burns and boils for you.

Their large surface area,
Helps them to float
The wax on the leaves
Is like a raincoat.
It prevents them from getting wet,
Which keeps the plant afloat and set!

Well, this is all about our precious water lilies,
I hope you could gather some information!
Remember to always love flowers, daily and weeklies,
For they are God’s beautiful creation!

Alright, but what did I do to the end? 😂😂😭 As you probably can make out that I wrote this for a project! My whole presentation was this way and the teacher thought it was very creative of me to do it 🤩
